Singapore’s real estate sector is among the most advanced in the region, yet it faces mounting uncertainty: shifting buyer preferences, climate commitments, and regulatory reforms are rapidly transforming how developers operate. This foresight-driven workshop will empower REDAS members to navigate what lies ahead—through trends, scenarios, and a shared vision of what a developer must become by 2040.

•  Cities as an Urban System – Why treating a city as an interlocking system is critical to supporting asset performance.
• Data Benchmarking & Quantitative Methods – Picking the right parameters and sanity-checking numbers to avoid “garbage-in, garbage-out.”
• Data Points vs Trends – Turning noisy indicators into coherent trend lines and decision-ready insights.
• Core Foresight Tools – Horizon scanning, STEEP trend mapping, scenario development and back-casting.

KNOWLEDGE PARTNER

Mr Daniel Liu, Executive Director, MORROW Intelligence

Daniel currently leads business and finance operations at MORROW Architects and Planners and is the co-founder of MORROW Intelligence. In his position, Daniel bridges the gap between governance and urban planning, with a deep understanding of the built environment industry.

Daniel has also been an invited speaker at several platforms, such as the World Economic Forum (Bloomberg House) and the Bloomberg New Economy Forum. Before joining MORROW, Daniel was an experienced auditor. He spent the formative years of his career as an auditor at a Big Four firm and in industry.  In addition to his professional roles, Daniel is deeply involved in community volunteering. In 2022, he was appointed by the People’s Association, a Singapore Government statutory board, to serve as the Chairman of the Nee Soon East Citizens Consultative Committee. In this role, he engages with government agencies on behalf of his residents and oversees a volunteer organization of over 450 grassroots leaders.

• Requests sent in at least 2 weeks before commencement: 50% of course fee refunded.
• Requests sent in less than 2 weeks before commencement: No refund, full course fee payable.
